RES provides information and guidance to students interested in pursuing a course of study in Britain. It offers a comprehensive collection of information including videos gathered from British educational institutions. It also offers reference material, information sheets, assistance with application, counselling, talks, education fairs and presentations and individual briefings on immigration and pre-departure formalities and what to expect on arrival in the UK.

Student visas are required for Indian nationals who wish to study in Britain and can be obtained from the British High Commission (BHC) in New Delhi and the British Deputy High Commission (BDHC) in Mumbai, Chennai and Calcutta (addresses at the end of Briefing Notes). 95% of the students applying to go to UK are able to get their Visas. RES guides the applicants for their Visas. Unless their documents are not in proper order very rarely a visa is denied. Prospective students who clearly have a genuine and realistic intention to study in the UK. NOTE :- Indian nationals who enter the UK with a visitor visa are not eligible and will not be permitted to change to student status while in the UK.

Once the student has been accepted for a course of study, RES will advise you to apply for a place in a hall of residence. Such accommodation is limited but most of the institutions give priority to overseas students especially in the first year and the majority have accommodation officers who will give you advice and help. Additionally RES is formally associated with London's largest accommodation company, Hosts International for quality home stay and hotel accommodation.
Each institute, be it a college or university, has a separate placement Cell, where at any time one will find hundreds of jobs/ vacancies. Getting a part-time job in the UK is not that difficult. Every student is explained in detail work regulations for international students in the UK.
RES extends complete guidance and every necessary help for applying for education loans at a very quick pace and without too much of paper work. RES has strategic tie up with Bank of Punjab (BoP) who have several branches in Delhi and elsewhere in India to offer bank loans to Indian students for studying abroad at very competitive interest rate and without many service charges. In addition BoP will also look after all the foreign exchange requirements of students sponsored by RES. In any case most of the nationalized Indian banks are too happy to consider favourably requests for overseas education loans. Yes, it does. A student has got an option of paying the fee in 3-4 installments but all really depends on the institution the student is going to study.
RES provides guidance on courses. It forwards the necessary documents to the respective college/university for admission covering proper assessment of the student. After the admissions have been secured, all the follow up procedures are undertaken by RES.
At least 6 months in advance is normally the best time. When is the best time for applying the visa? Ideally 6 – 8 weeks before the course begins or the date of departure.
There is always a chance of rejection of the Visa if a student applies in such situation. However if a student has a genuine reason for applying late, he can do so.
Higher courses in the UK are the best in the world. A wide range of courses from Diplomas & first degrees to doctorates are available in the UK. British qualifications are recognized internationally. Staff – Student ratio are better than many countries. Residential accommodations are the best and freely available. The cost of the studies is considered lower than other countries, because a British first degree course takes at least one year less.
